I think it's interesting to juxtapose the Monarch that migrates south
from northern US and Canada to-- not precisely Mexico City, but states
close by, with things like a pumpkin patch and orange fallen leaves.
Those aren't really a thing in perpetually temperate AND evergreen-
covered central Mexico (emphasis on central, if you start going north
you do get this ), so they're ideas about Autumn itself that have
travelled south Monarch-like and made themselves at home despite not
being something that we experience firsthand.
