If you win a design, for an extra $5 / 500 points, I'll design an alternative outfit [either similar to this or of a different style].
For an extra $2 / 200 points, I'll isolate the drawing of that design shown here, and give it its own background + new hand-drawn lettering

These are pretty awesome ponies. And I've been so-so when it came to plant ponies because of the mass production of their species specially for auctions/adopts. But I can say these came out beautifully and I will be keeping an eye out for more of your beautiful plant ponies/ponies in general. I don't know if I love their manes or colors more. xD

I believe you and two others I have found their ponies/plant ponies beautiful by far. And not overly produced, so it makes them a bit special and more unique. I'm happy to say you are one of my favorites

Well when it comes to plant ponies and ponies SnowSolstice is one of my favorites ^o^ but once their adopted she gets rid of the artwork from her gallery. Which is a real shame because I love her work because she has amazing talent for an individual. So it makes me sad since not many people get to see her work. Unless they go to the people who adopted from her to see her artwork. She's very creative.
And I love DejectedDetective, they're still very fun and enjoyable to look at, between the playful designs and playful color combinations. I don't think I would get tired of seeing DejectedDetective's ponies. By far the only other two artists besides yourself I have enjoyed seeing your artwork. That I have come across.
At first I did love C-C-C-Crown's and a few others, but since their mass production and the newer owners that have gotten rights, I don't know. They just don't seem as genuine and enjoyable. Specially when they come in large batches. It just seems like they've been slapped together, in my opinion, since I'm not on the side of the computer to see how long they take to make each individual one made, I couldn't tell if they were just slap together to get points or took their time to do it.
If you want honesty, you got it. I don't like sugarcoating anything, but I take the time to listen and observe others feelings and such. It's just after a while and after seeing so much of it that I personally lose interest in them. The species is a cool concept but you know once you see everyone one do it, they just don't seem as fantastic as they use to, they kind of lose their uniqueness and quality.
I personally only have 1 plant pony, which I utterly adore because it is based off one of my favorite characters from bleach. Which SnowSolstice designed for me. Which I am still very much in love with and hopefully once I get a drawing tablet I will be able to do more artwork with him because let's face it. Drawing with a laptop pad is crazy slow and very very time consuming.
So yeah. That's basically what I got to say. xD And thanks for taking the time to read it all or skimmed through. haha. sorry about all that.

Personally I'm not even in it for the points, I'm never short on points and to me they're not a big deal. I only make larger batches lately to use up a lot of palettes, but 6-9 takes me multiple days c,:

^o^ I loved a lot of first ponies. Like your third page of your adoptables folder. There was 10 ponies I found adorable, simple and fun. I loved a lot of the colors choices you had together. Manes were always wonderful. I loved the majority of manes from your third page. Colors were simple and appealing to the eye. There was about 5 or 6 a found wonderful from the second page. And I understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it is. And you have three beautiful ones from the first page because their mane colors stood out from their body. It was like a pop of color, which I found very attractive in those particular ponies. I understand you took take your time with your ponies. I can tell. I do adore your artwork in general.

They are. But I don't know. I just never like the idea of large batches because I feel like it takes away from the artist. Like I understand 2-4 per batch. Which personally I feel is a better approach when doing closed species rather than 10-30 per batch. Because it seems like they take more time to make them 2-4, even individual ponies, I, myself, find it more appealing. I don't know about everyone else. But I do look at design, color, style, either it is based on their own ability/bases, and just stare at the pony for quite some time marveling at their skill. Once I see something between 10-30 per batch I just close the notification of the deviation and move on. I know they must have taken some time to make large batches. But they just seem to blend together and I don't find them as appealing than what they could be. Sorry if I am being rather blunt about it.
D: Yeah it sucks character based ones aren't allowed anymore. I do feel rather lucky. Because I adore my Mayuri based one. ToT and wish he was a plushie.
I've seen other species similar to some degree to plant ponies. Like the Gooble Pony which I kind of like because it is cute and silly.

I think so too. I do look forward for more creative outstanding styles, even if it something as simple as a day to day item, that could wow a person.
And yes true, but there's a lot of ripoffs species around DA, or you know when someone closes a species that kind of already exist to a technically sense that people have done it before but people want to make points off it. But I still found them cute. :/ you know, to each his own.
