He is using his long blue okapi-like tongue to grab leaves off the tree
He will be a resident of the Moonlit Trance Sanctuary, which is a fictitious non-fenced area of Montana, owned by Sophia (one of my fursonas) where wild animals can roam free without fear of hunters or poachers. The wolves pretty much have the run of the place, although there is a small coyote population as well. It is likely that he will find a stormwolf for a mate, since those are the most common subspecies of wolf in the Sanctuary. His name will be Tireki.
