Description
She's not that well developed yet, and things might end up changing later on. As for her as a character, she doesn't have much of a personality yet. The only thing I know about her, is that she'd bend over backwards for her children. I probably won't even develop her too much anyway. That's because she died a long time ago. The only things you really see of her, is of her corpse that is preserved in the lab that Kurtis lives in, aaaaand in brief flashbacks (that are mainly in Kurtis's backstory).

Backstory (first draft, so expect flaws):
Caroline like Kurtis, was also a lab animal who had to go through painful experiments.
But they mainly used her in her later years to make offspring for them to experiment on.
She is the mother of Kurtis and a few other characters (them being from an old cannon, and they're gonna have to have a ton of changes to them if I ever use them again) She had them at the age of 21, and she did everything in her power to protect them from the scientists. But unfortunately, there wasn't much she could do. She was locked away in a cage, and she could hear her children cry as they were having painful experiments done on them. Which crushed her, and all of her breakout attempts where not successful.
Years pass, and she finally broke out, but she accidently broke a container full of a chemical, that ended up getting everywhere and killing everyone, including her. (this was the same chemical spill I was talking about in Kurtis's backstory) She ended up dying while Kurtis was doing everything he could to save her

So yeah, that's all I've developed for her as of now. I might add more to it later on, but as of now that's pretty much it.
Also, I've been thinking of how she ended up in the lab in the first place. Like maybe she was also born into it like Kurtis was, or maybe she was kidnapped? But it probably won't play an importance in the main story anyway.
