This is my entry for the "Falling Kingdoms" Facebook contest that Morgan Rhodes, the author, is holding! If you've never read the series, you should. Right now. Go do it. Trust me, you won't regret it
Anyways, I've worked on this over the past 3 weeks off and on and I just finished it yesterday! I was really excited to work on it once I got the main idea down, and I have to say, it was a lot of fun! This piece tested me in ways I've not really been tested before so I was forced to learn more about Sai, its various brushes, as well as new techniques...but that's not a bad thing in any way
I'm really happy with how this came out and I can't wait to use what I learned on my future pieces

It's nice for landscapes and painting rocks but you can use it with anything and any texture or brush type.

Ah yeah! You should read them!! I saw it trending on Goodreads one day so I got it from my library and the rest is history XD usually I don't buy hardcovers because they're more expensive but I love these so I had to XD

I'd like to think most artists aren't fans of how they draw but that's natural. I figured pro would be a little too much too. I guess I should just say you are quite the work of art with your art haha

Yeah they probably do. It's weird because I get really excited about something I'm drawing one minute and then the next I hate it. I guess I'm just not that confident yet haha that might be a little more accurate. Or even "tries hard, gets lazy, gives up" lol

You don't have a camera on your phone? That's what I do. I just take pics of my pencil and paper drawings with my iPod. What kind of tablet were you using? An intuos?

I think it was one of the Bamboo products. It was small anyways so I guess it wasn't a complete loss.
I guess if I took pics of my drawing it would work but even then, it doesn't bring out the quality it would online. Eh...if I was to take it up again, I would.

That is pretty awesome. I guess community colleges aren't as involved with there students in regard to mine not really doing anything of the sort or giving anything to students.
I think you'll do fine though. It'll probably be nice to get away from home and start your own path.

It is a community college though haha It's a tech school but it's pretty much a community college XD yeah, I can't wait to go my own way! I can't wait to live on my own and have 2 cats named Oliver and Winston 😊
