I started my art class a week ago and our first assignment was to take photos around campus and then find one that can be edited in such a way that it would make a good pencil and charcoal drawing.

I'm by no means a good photographer but I did enjoy playing around with the settings in Photoshop (first time I've ever used it!) and am now just trying to figure out how I'm gonna pull this off xD I haven't used traditional media seriously in so long and was never proficient at it even when I did use it a lot..so this is shaping up to be a challenge. Needless to say there will be many practice runs before I even think of doing the final piece.

I'll post the finished project once it's done Wish me luck!
