Personality:

Yuurei is quite the innocent character. Often being clueless of what surrounds her, thus making her able of not being scared of many things that she should stay away from or that could hurt her. Which sometimes may lead her into some problems with villagers that she doesn't know, either just by being somewhat innocently "rude" by being too direct to strangers when asking questions for her curious self. She's usually more energetic by night. Where she can enjoy toying with the wisps that usually surround her and walk around when people are asleep, usually to try catch some souls she would eat, brightening up the ghostly light over her head. Yuurei being a child at heart even by her age usually gets quite distracted when she's not searching for something, being quite an airhead and childish person who's easily surprised. She's a crybaby when it comes to being scolded or reprimanded, as she usually doesn't understand why people would yell at her or tell her not to do certain stuff she doesn't find offensive or bad when having to deal with important people.

History:

Yuurei doesn't remember that much when it comes to mostly everything prior to her death. All she knew by then was that when she woke up she was alone, though she didn't even seem to notice nor care as she was pretty much confused about everything that surrounded her. Somehow she managed to find out one thing: she was in a place called Gale Spring. Having just that information apart from her name, Yuurei was still clueless about everything. Not knowing whether she should try to talk with people or avoid them and being generally an airhead who wouldn't be able to get her objectives quite clearly. Somehow, she managed to survive until some people started to notice her wandering aimlessly in the village. Probably by taking pity of her or just being tired of her wandering around, people started to take care of her along with another little girl who was yet older than Yuurei, though it didn't prevent them from getting really close to one-another.

For about two years, both survived from the help and food other villagers gave them. Yuurei didn't really mind, as she was quite comfortable being taken cared of without having to actually do anything. But this lifestyle somewhat bothered her older "sister", who didn't quite like it. Thus accepting to be taken under the wing of a traveler who took them to another village: Noir Vale. Yuurei instantly fell in love with her new home, finding it way cozier to her liking and full of souls she could try to snatch from time to time by luring them close to her with the strange lights she creates around her.

From there on, both sisters grew up in Noir Vale, slowly getting some obsession with treasure hunting a legends. Thus ending up as a team for exploration and treasure hunting, though what mostly motivated Yuurei was the fact that she could keep the shiny stuff she would find and spending time with her sister Dia.
