Sometimes, when the night's stretched on for a while, we take the time to reflect; ponder back on the things we've said and done, the choices we've made, and all the people whose lives we touch. Consider not only what turned out right, but what could have been different, and the things we always wish we'd known in advance. Long after the sun's gone down, we still wonder if we're on the right path; 'Did I do the right thing?', and 'Would they be proud of me if they were here right now?'. There's no answer hidden in the dark, and no deeper meaning lost among the stars. Ultimately, there is only the self as it's own silent judge, asking the eternal question: 'Are you PLEASED with the mess you've made so far?'
