A quiet moment among lovers; soft skin and the warm scent of golden grass...Many moons ago, I agreed to do an art trade with the lovely *DarkJediPrincess . She drew an awesome Dark Side Bao-Dur for me, ([link] ), and I *finally* finished my half of the bargain. Alina Krace belongs to her, and Bao-Dur is the soft-spoken Zabrak from KotOR II.
I really hope you like it, DJP! I actually painted a background!

What a lovely, earthly painting, so soft yet so collected. Good work on the pose and composition and the color scheme, it all works together extremely well. I especially love the tender expressions and the background - how the stars peek from amidst the clouds. If you would like a bit of feedback on how to make this great piece even better - try getting more detail in the shadowing of the people, especially the faces to flesh them out more. Good thing you used the purple and green already in the shadowing and reflections, however, you do have a good eye for that!

Thank you! I appreciate the detailed feedback and the suggestions for improvement. Depth and shadowing are things I need to work on in general, I think. I've been piddling around with actual paint lately hoping that that would give me some good practice.

Really you draw the best bao, although Neko is right. But you did a good job on the mechanical part of his arm, the hand could have been bigger though. If you check screens the mechanical hand is bigger than his biological one. But really I love his face and the way you draw him! <3

Same as my comment on your progression peice. Great job. The arm's shape and everything seems to be pretty acurate. I think the blueish shiney part in the middle is kind of out of place. But it doesn't really detract from the over all awesomeness of this picture, so what evs

Gorgeous. My only critique is that his arm doesn't seem to fit the rest of the piece. If you're following the game model, then his mechanical arm starts farther down his arm, and the blue shiney part (what *is* that, anyhow? 
The rest, however, is simply gorgeous. Bao's face in particular. And the Exile is hawt.

Crud muffins, you're right. I always think of it starting just below his shoulder, not just above the elbow, but my mental image is just plain wrong. Aww, and here I was all proud of his arm 'cause I took an extra ten minutes to draw on all of the mechanical bits. 
I think the blue shiny junk is pure, condensed sex magic...with the ability to take down shields.
