Wow. Those aren't legitimate messages on those stones, are they?

Well, not at all. I just copied the Matoran Alphabet because I had no idea what to write (if I'm right, the Makoki stones were engraved with information about the brotherhood but how such a thing could hold a book on its surface ?!)

These stones seemed much more interesting when the early lore implied they were important parts to Mata Nui's awakening. But like a lot of minor elements of 2001 lore, they kinda got shafted and tossed back in as "Uhhhhh, they're valuable because someone wrote all of Makuta's dirty secrets on them! And then the Rahaga just turned them into keys for the heck of it!"

That was very minor since Makoki stones only appeared during the toa asembly before opening the mangaia.

The Alphabet was my first guess, but I thought I saw some letters placed differently.
Yeah, I can't see that much info on the stones either (Unless it's like the card in Tim Allen's "Santa Clause").

Whoopsie, I just figured out the informations were engraved in so tiny and precise letters it was barely visible and could be mistaken with rock lines.
Well, I guess since I began printing the stone alrdeady, it doesn't matter. Putting so mush efforts in a such big prints, including magnets to keep the stone as a whole, it would be sad there was any decoration, doesn't it ?

Maybe you could make actual names on there, but just the names of all the Makuta that are known, and their associates. It would kind of fit the theme.
Just an idea.
