There is a war that rages on even now, beyond the fields that we know - Between the Utopian Kingdoms of the High Heavens and the Chaotic Pits of the Burning Hells. This war is known as The Great Conflict, and it has raged and burned for longer than any of the stars in the sky.

Eh, I deleted all my old stuff to make room for some actually good (or at least, half-way decent) stuff.

This picture was done entirely in Photoshop CS, using various techniques, filters, and brushes. I like the way it turned out, although I think the white planet looks better than the red one.

That quote at the top is from Diablo...It seemed like it went well with this picture.

Yeah yeah, I realize it's pretty cliche to put the black border and come up with some strange word as the title, but I had to do SOMETHING to make it look more...finished.

For those of you that are wondering, I did this picture completely from scratch, using no premade textures or brushes. I only used filters (emboss, add noise, desaturate, and a few others) the round soft brushes, the clone stamp tool, and a lot of messing with the levels, contrast, and color settings.

I based my ideas off the tutorials by Greg Martin, which detail how to make great starfields and planets, but I changed around his ideas quite a bit, and just used them as a sort of guideline to keep me on track
