Something I posted on Tumblr a couple of weeks ago. I'm really excited about Digimon Advebture Tri and I've got some is inspiration to draw Digimon fanart again. Here's Mimi Tachikawa, I think she's a very good character. ^^Digimon (c) Bandai / Toei Animation

The drawing looks great. Even a simple sketch can turn out great.
Ironically, I wasn't fond of her as a character of the 8 DigiDestined. But I'm slowly getting to like her.
She may be whiny and spoiled, but she is atleast a caring friend.

Well it's understantable, she's had a great life with no worries and when she's suddenly in an unknown world on her own with dangerous monsters running around it makes sense why she was so whiny. But she grew as a person as the show went on and even gathered a whole army of Digimon to battle against the evil, when earlier she wanted to avoid fighting.

Atleast she isn't as whiny as Usagi from Sailor Moon considering both characters changed over time.

Well Usagi's whininess was mainly a problem in the 90s anime, in the original manga and in the new Crystal anime she actually does mature over time, while she did develop in the 90s anime too at the same time some of her development seemed to be reset every time a new season began.
