I just started to rewatch one of my fav cartoons/animes from my childhood, Sherlock Hound. I haven't drawn any SH art since 2008 (see here: Meitantei Holmes ) Did you know that six of all the episodes were directed by Hayao Miyazaki? I was kinda shocked when I first found out, I never saw his movies until I was a teen, but he has apparently been a part of my early childhood as well.

Btw, when this show aired in Finland, it aired around the same time as Montana Jones, which also had anthropomorphic animals as its characters and it was based on Indiana Jones. The reason I'm saying this because I was kinda surprised how very similar Moriarty from this show and Lord Zero from MJ looked so smilar, then I read that they apparently has the same character designer, if that is right. While MJ is a good show, I have always preferred SH, I dunno, maybe this one had a bit more heart put into it. Not to mention it had Miyazaki. Too bad this show was half as long as MJ (26 episodes), not to mention only 13 episodes were dubbed into Finnish. But at least they dubbed all the Miyazaki episodes, and my fav one happened to be directed by him.
