The pilot decides to use their bodies as target practice, be they dead or alive. Although they are too small to see from this distance the scanner can lock in on them and display them in detail to the pilot. Nubya however remains hidden from view standing behind the turret targeting console, her small size being totally obscured. Slowly the turret arcs around.
