This drawing will be for my grandma. She died during the night (4/5 december). One night before the 'pakjesavond' of 'sinterklaas' [link] . It's the evening the good old man brings everyone presents. It's a typical dutch 'holiday'

She was a strong and a great woman. I could tell so much about her , but I'll put it in a few words: Strong, confidient, enthousiast, stubborn (sometimes) and always willing to help. Even when I hadn't much contact the last few years, she was there in the background. I'm happy for her that she doesn't have any pain anymore. She died in her sleep a few hours later after my brother and me left.

She always loved to look how squirrels played and chased each other, how they moved through the trees and how they eat there food. Also she loved plants that are called 'kerststerren' [link] in dutch. Christmas stars. So this is for my grandma.
