Two powerful creatures circled one another, hissing and growling as both tried to get a hold of the other's neck or any other body part available. Czar , a gigantic raven rook, had been bet against the smaller and younger Asa . Everyone thought the battle would've been over in seconds, expecting the larger rook to smash his opponent against the ground with one quick sweep. That was not the case though. Asa was putting up a good fight, dodging the raven kukuri's attacks swiftly, while getting some decent damage done on Czar. The raven one had a hard time keeping up with the agile crimson, but even still the battle was not yet over. Asa had to be careful not to latch on to Czar for too long, otherwise he would risk being pinned between the massive rook and the hard ground.

"гребаная атака!!" a Russian woman could be heard shouting from the crowd, clearly displeased with the raven kukuri's performance. The other onlookers could only guess why, maybe she had bet a lot of money on him...

Actually managed to kick myself on the butt enough to finish this! \('3')/ I have been battling with some art block as of late so this current kukuri event was just the perfect thing to try to rebel against it. When one does collabs, one is less likely to just drop them and go "mmeh, I'll do it later" :>
This collab was done with the oh-so-amazing and awesome meganeffingsandbox ! They did the sketch, lines and colors and I did shading, background and final effects. It was awesome to work with you Mego, I truly hope we can do something like this again some day! ♥
