My second watercolor painting. <3I'm really proud with how this came out, but my scanner kind of washed out some of the lighter colors.

Thank you! This is one of the few watercolors I have actually done. I seriously need to do more, and invest in some GOOD brushes and not just the cheap ones from walmart.

Oh gosh ME TOO! u_u I bought brushes from walmart for like $5 because it had like 20+ brushes inside it hahaha. They work for the most part, but from being in the water the paint and wood is starting to burst and the hairs keep pulling out in the middle of painting. It's terrible. I've been bugging my mother to take me to the art store so I can buy new brushes and watercolors. SOON. :c

I hated how the hair kept coming out of the brushes! It annoyed me to no end! There is an art store here and I fully intend on buying up some GOOD watercolor brushes before I go back home for Summer.

I actually don't even know the name of the art store here hahaha. My mother spotted it for me and we stopped there for the first time a few weeks ago. I'm been begging her to take me back so I can buy some new drawing pencils and watercolor paints/brushes.

If it's Hobby Lobby, I know ever other week they have 40% coupons on their website. I usually use those when I need to go and get art supplies from there since most of their stuff is priced super high.

Oh no, it's definitely not Hobby Lobby. It's really small actually but has a lot of decent stuff. When I first went I bought Prismacolor watercolor pencils and watercolor paper. Thought about getting the paints and brushes but my mother rushed me out of the store. I regret not getting them. I really need to go back.
But yeah, it's not Hobby Lobby. I do love that store, though! I like it for picture frames and mirrors and such. :3 They have really cool clocks, too.

They were having an amazing sale on those at one point. Like 60% off? And we bought this one that looked like it belonged at an old time-y railroad station.

I've probably seen that one. Ughhhh I wish I could have known. I mean I don't think I've ever need a wall clock for time, but it'd be just a cool piece to add to a room haha! I totally want one.
