I did this for a class of mine.We had several choices to choose from for splash pages and thought "Hey, I've never done a flaming skull and a motorcycle before. Let's try that!"
I got so frustrated with the motorcycle and redid it twice. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out though. Haha
All done in watercolors.

I did try to pull influences from both the movies and the comic books though.

It matches them very well. I think the motorcycle came out really well. The fiery skull is very nice too.
