Well, this is the month of May, it's my birthday month so there has to be a celebration and Isis was the only party type I had in hand :3 This scan didn't come out right, so until I get to scan this again without blurred edges, enjoy ^^She was supposed to be on a cruise. Not sure if it's obvious :/ Any ideas to improve this? ^^

Go to google images and type down mardi gras. Down here, we have people dressed in colorful costumes and dresses (primary colors are green, yellow, and purple), and they ride on floats and throw beads, coins, and other things. I love Mardi Gras!!! (Sorry...)

Her dress was the most torturous and most fun part of it(aside from the seagull). I like going crazy with lacey designs 8D

I actually quite like it! ^^ I thought that she was either at a cruise or on some balcony in a restaurant near the sea, so I imagine you did a good job on defining the place! XD
The sky is also so pretty!
I totally dig her dress, and the only thing I could suggest improving is the wood - it looks a bit messy (coloring) compared to the rest of the drawing.
Otherwise, a wonderful piece! ^^

Yes, wood killed me. I'm not sure whatelse to do to give texture. Or I'll end up trying to give texture on photoshop

I find that using orinary colored pencils helps achieve interesting textures, plus they give you much more control on smaller pieces than watercolors do. ^^ On larger pieces, you can simply paint the texture.
