that is for sure, but I was actually wondering about all the paper work and passport things I must make to be able to take him with me.

Oh my GOD, that is the third most beautiful kittens I've ever seen! (I only say third most beautiful because I have two cats of my own so I'm kind of biased.)

Usually the biggest thing about bringing an animal into another country is to make sure their shots are all up to date and you have the documentation to prove it. We crossed frequently with our dog from the states and into canada, all they wanted from us was paperwork. Good luck with your kitten, he is adorable.

well a doctor/vet has to do some tests on him I think, bloodtest and what not, and fill out the info in a special passport made for the cat. and then you have to check with the flight company cause there's special fees to take animals from one country to another.
dunno how long the procedure with tests and so will take, but the bloodsamples etc. has to be sent in for analyse and further on, so.. a while :/
poor kitty - so glad you took care of him!

I cant say exactly for switzerland but I know when I took my dog from the U.S to Mexico all I had to do was get all her vaccinations and a certificate of good health. Getting everything done was quick for me but only cause the vet was a friend of the family. I did on the other hand have a cousin bring in a dog from mexico and i believe it only took about a month. They gave the pet all its shots he had to wait about 20 days and then take the dog to get tested, to make sure it wasn't infected. The best thing i would recommend is calling you consulate and asking them about importing pets, especially since laws are constantly changing.
As for the image, Nice pic and cute cat.

Your welcome. Its too bad you have to leave him there but at least on the bright side you will eventually be able to take him home. Good luck with the little guy.

I'll just say he looks like a certain Austrian dictator of Germany...
Of course you could also go with Charlie Chaplin.

well, I didn't really notice the first time i saw him. But after I washed and fed him and he got so happy and sleepy, i made this pic. After I posted it, I noticed the resemblance and I already have a bunch of comments under the image about the resemblance with H. I think these kinda cats are called Kitlers and there is even a site with them.
