this was one of my pets. I named her Sasha. I adore rodents and I have many as pets. I make their cages in a way that they can get out and play in a large playground I made for them, because I don't want them to feel like they are in a prison. she had a happy life and she was friendly with me, walking up on my hand and taking treats out of my hand. When they die I feel like i lost friends and it is awful to see them passing the rainbow bridge... They have a short life span, and many times I ask myself, why do i adopt pets that live such short lives ? Every two years, they die and i feel my heart aching. But then i remember that I adopt them so they can live their life happy, surrounded by toys, a lot of
food, my love and my need to make their life as happy as i can... Mother Nature gave us amazing animal friends, innocent souls that can bring so much joy...and no matter their size, they are sweet and pure and they don't judge us... cat, dog, fish, mouse, hamster...they are the innocent and they deserve our love.
