Igniz from King of Fighters 2001Yes, his arena and moveset are pretty cool, but isn't he cheapest KoF boss ever? Rugal sure can rape any character with his powerful high-priority specials, but Igniz is one who could greet you with infinity whip lash combo if he likes so, or present his Brutal God Project to your attention. And, of course, when you find winning tactic against him it could be extremely dumb but effective. Still, all that pathos he exudes didn't allow me to call him bad final boss - winning over him you feel like you just beat one ultimate cyber-gothic-space-demigod, and this is exactly what you want to feel after descent Final Boss Battle.

Is there any version of KoF 2002 where you could fight all the major bosses in a row? I think it would be even funnier (and enraging for the player) that way.

There is, actually. In order to fight Nightmare Geese in 2002 UM, one would have to fight all of the NESTS bosses, and Omega Rugal all in a row, according to TV Tropes.

Can't argue with that. Though his moveset still more creative then, say, one of Saiki's boss form (full-screen blackness as super move should be forbidden).
