Description The Morrigan is the Celt goddess of war and strife, one of the original Tautha De Danann tribe of immortals who defeated the Fir Bolg after arriving in Britain in great flying ships. A dark and often heartless goddess, her ravens circle the battlefield while she enflames battle-lust on whichever side she favors.

I've always been a fan of the Celtic and Norse myths. My recent increase in interest for the Morrigan came via a Harry Potter fanfiction of all things! The story is "Quote The Raven" on fanfiction.net by an author called genkaifan. Great stuff, and he really brings out the character of this goddess. He even brings Cernnunos (sic?) into the picture.

As we've seen, fan fiction opens doors to bigger things.

very true. It's sparked a renewed interest in writing for me, as well as restarting my dabbling in digital art.

I think this is fantastic - amazingly well done. Where did you get your inspiration as to characteristics or was this just intuition/inspiration. Have searched the web for descriptions of the Morrigan trio but they are all generic

Not an easy question to answer...I have just studied the Tain and other Celt myths and this is what emerged. Thanks for the kudos.
