Description I received a few questions regarding the techniques I use to finish my polymer clay pieces, mainly from dear and , and these two inspired me to write my very first tutorial. I hope some of you might find it useful

I am happy to anwer any questions that you still might have. I feel so inspired by this wonderful community and the people here, and I love to share and give back what I have learned so far.

A similar tutorial in German can be found on my blog .

As usual, I appreciate constructive criticism

I was so excited to see this, but I still have a question. When ever I try to use this stuff, I seem to be really heavy handed - it completely blots everything. I have a hard time making it look accent-y as opposed to solid colored, lol. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I think it is a matter of practise! Just use a very small brush and dip it in only lightly into the powder!

Hello! I wanted to let you know that I cited your tutorial in the article Introduction to Polymer Clay written for Project Educate because I believe it's one of the best resources available in DA. Thank you so much for your generosity in making tutorials and inspiring others

Hey!

May I ask you how you do a pattern on your clay? I mean, do you imprint something or what?

(smiles) I will, and you're most welcome! The local Fred Meyers sells the colors by the each, rather than only in packs... (drools) I bought a pack, and was vexed that it included pinks, which I'm not too likely to want to use... ever. Not a color I care for much, but use rarely when it's the uh, best choice? So glad that others can love that color freely. (smiles)

I see Then it is better indeed if you buy them individually. Me - I love pink

seed-of-january [2009-04-04 08:14:36 +0000 UTC]

ValerianaSolaris In reply to seed-of-january [2009-04-04 14:41:53 +0000 UTC]

seed-of-january In reply to ValerianaSolaris [2009-04-04 15:58:17 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ValerianaSolaris In reply to seed-of-january [2009-04-04 20:44:45 +0000 UTC]
