I love the blues, they are fantastic. And the contrast is good, it gives nice crisp feeling and "sharpens" the surreal look nicely.

Original colors are a variety of brown tones. I have worked on a few colors before reaching this one.
This day, sun was a little bit strong, but, hiden by twigs, the final effect is not too burnt.
And I use a macro lens even for larger compositions in order to obtain a special background, I mean I use a low level of depth of field.
