22/6/2012Septicflesh are an atmospheric/symphonic death metal band from Greece, performing live in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
I like this band a lot and enjoyed the show so much that by now it's the second best show I've ever seen.
The photo has been taken for the Israeli metal webzine Ov Metal .

it's really, simply, a great picture. it can be difficult to photograph concert shots. some artists can be very motivated and move all over the stage, some sit on a stool and hardly move. what you have here is a very atmospheric yet lively picture of what looks like a good action shot. the singing, the pose, which would need the high shooter speed and the blur for the depth of field for the focus on the fret board. could possibly sharpen the hair and body of the artist in Photoshop, but Overall i love it. it a top picture.

no problem. it is a great picture. personally, i like my action shots with a sharp foreground, strings, hair, fingers to focus on, and nothing to focus on in the background. but in the end photography is about personal opinion and what you want the end result to be, not what someone else wants it to be.
