This is a Great Rex model!
But does anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut that zooms in/out to make the model fill the screen?Β
Kinda like Ctrl+0 in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Since dinosaur MMD's are so big, all you see is their feet when you open the file.Β
Even if you zoom out manually, as soon as you change angles you're back to a toenail shot, which makes posing difficult.Β

ahh you have to save the camera angle
this is true for ALL mmd atuff.
hit regiester on the blue box in the camera section
the camera might return to the feet on the mode; secton but the angle is saved on the play screen.
my dinosaur stuff is nothing compared to the mecha and kaiju mmd stuff. they try to make it 1:1 scale

Ummm... has someone managed to add Jaw bones to this awesome 3d model?
I don't see them when I try animating the mouth to close or open in MMD. Also, I must ask, are there any preset skeleton animations of its movements (walking, roaring and biting) around here that can be downloaded?

nope
most people who do MMD animation want animal models to use human rigging. which makes alot of animal models nearly impossible to animate.
I have only one animation i did for my dinos but it's very out of date. i do however have a series of poses i have compiles for all of my animal models. different models use differnet poses since some of them are higher or lower poly then others.
it has a closeing expression on it's jaw

I was actually making a walk animation for this T-rex today. The only problem I faced is the fact that body doesn't have a grove bone and the IK bone. This causes problems in those frames in which his body weight shifts towards a point (like when putting his foot down with bending ankles or twisting his body when he moves his leg forward).

i guess IK bones work on theropod models but not on quadrupeds.
have you tried to do animations with the raptors i uploaded in the Raptor Squad?
they have IK bones (they just don't have the best tail physics since raptor tails are stiff)

I haven't done anything with the raptors as of yet as I'm mainly interested in bigger therapods, specially this T-rex. I have gotten good at animating after watching some tutorials for MMD but I can't get it right without IK bones on his ankles and waist (When I stretch his legs apart, the thighs tear up). If you aren't intending to make any additions to this Rex, than I guess I will probably have to correct these on the PMD editor which may prove difficult because there isn't a complete English version nor did I create this 3d model.
I do hope you do more rips from Primal CarnageΒ though. It would be awesome to see their Spinosaurus and Acrocanthasaurus on MMD.

Oh cool, the Primal Carnage T-rex~! X3 This will come in handy when I use the Primal Carnage T-rex's roars in my videos, since now the roars will go with the correct T-rex. :3 Downloaded

There was a YouTube video up a long time ago that had all of the dinosaur roars and sounds from the first game, but it got taken down, so I was lucky enough to get all the sounds before it was taken down~

I'll note you the wave file I have that contains all the sounds, I don't have the time to separate all of them QWQ

I have a lot of sounds on my computer too, but I have noticed sometimes (not all the time, but sometimes) I use the same sounds over and over again for certain things. Oh well, that's why sometimes I edit the overused sounds so they sound different. :3

nothing wrong with useing sounds over and over...it makes sence that somethings would use the same sound.
i'll make some new kaiju sounds if you'd like me to. i've got an audio program i've been dying to use.

Oh, it's fine. I've got a bunch of sounds at my disposal, and I think I'm good for now. Thanks for the offer though! :3

Your Toborosaurus Roar was actually very cool, but I'm really not in the need of sounds yet. I'll tell you when I do need sounds. :3
