Striders walk over the fungal plains.
A mature Mi-go holds dozens of brain canisters in cocoons of fungal tissue, allowing them access to the neural network.

i love how vigilant and inscrutable that Starspawn is in the valley, also what is Fthaggua made of?, must be the same plasma like it's fire vampires.
have you heard of the Unnamed Darkness and the Nameless Mist?, how do you envision these entities?, the former is older than Shub-Niggurath while the latter is older than Yog-Sothoth.

Fthaggua is literally the same energy! The fire vampires aren't independent entities at all, they're feeding "organs" with an extradimensional link.
I have but I don't take them as canon. I'm sure the entirety of the family tree they're from was just in service of a joke with Clark Ashton Smith.
