*Blows the dust off this drawing* *coughs*Pheeew this was such an old sketch I never finished because when I had the lineart done, the file corrupted somehow and I had to start again and once I did the sketch again I was like "meeeeh"
So... many months later I dared to finish this as I wanted to, I mean, taking the advantage of my lately inspiration to draw like this... like I should everytime, not like a lazy ass XD
I think this could fit alright in Tinnu's backstory since he was raised only by his father (and mostly his grandfather too) since he was a little elfling. It takes him some time before he gets used to the life in Mirkwood and there are many nights that he wonders why his mother left him there, but most of the time he pushes those thought in the back of his mind as he enjoys spending time with his Da
I used a reference pic of Orlando and his adorable son Flynn to do this <3

Oh my goodness this is precious! It's great to see a father-son pic for Tinnu and Legolas too now, just like all the super-sweet ones you make of Thurin and Boromir!

Thanks!! I have been struggling for a lot of time to finish this one, if you remember, i posted the sketch in one of the sketchdumps (1 or 2 idk) im glad i finished it, Tinnu was my first LOTR OC
but i also have been wanting to do another pic of Thurin and Boromir, but i have no ideaaas... And my heart also nudges my brain to draw thurin with Aragorn instead xD ngjhggh

Actually, I found a fun little list on Pinterest just yesterday, which was actually written for real-life parents, but I saved under my Writing board because I thought it would provide a lot of ideas for family scenes for Scotty and Orin and other characters I play with too. Maybe Thurin and Boromir could do one of these things together?

It was just the frustration because I had lost all the progress, but I actually wanted to finish it, it was just the frustration that didnt allow me to do it, I would stare at the drawing and immediatly remember what had happened and closed it like "UGH"
OOOOOOOMG THOSE PROMPTS LOOK GREAT (I gave a quick look Im gonna read them all soon)
My eye caught the No Talking contest, that would suit Aragorn and Thurin when he has some work to do with little patient XDD
I remember I had a little comic of baby Thurin with a very important document Aragorn was reading and they would fight to have it (pulling it like two kids fight over a Teddy bear

Yay, I'm glad you like the list too! I can totally imagine that, Aragorn and Thurin having a silence contest. I wonder who would win.

Hahah I can picture Aragorn being the one that talks first accidentally, but Thurin would immediatly burst talking because he had been holding back for so long XD
