However because she was 'killed' by Arsenic, her immortality keeps her animated but she became zombified. She can no longer heal any further damage sustained to her body and must cannibalize/consume the flesh of others in order for her immortality to continue. Her ability prevents her from completely dying, but the repercussions are that she is physically locked in the state that her life ended.

Her name is very well known among the Navriadian race as the "Queen of Pirates". She is much older than a lot of Navriadians and she was the original captain of one of the most notorious and well known pirate crews.

She will often find navriadian and take them under her wing like a mother with a child and raise them to be pirates. Vain was among the ones she found and took into her care. Arsenic was another one.

Vain began to conspire with Arsenic to remove Asphyxia in order for Vain to rise up as the new alpha and Arsenic as the beta, Arsenic tricked and tore Asphyxia apart with the use of her blade and cast the pieces of her body into the ocean in which they sank and stayed for 15 years.

Asphyxia'a body did not overgrow with barnacles and sea plants due to her ability creating a barrier around the pieces of her body as a means to 'protect' her while she was in stasis. When she was fished up and sewn back together, she surfaced from her unconsciousness and the barrier was dispelled. This ONLY protects her from the effects of her surroundings of nature, may it be from temperature, water, extreme heat, etc ONLY when she is in stasis. If she is conscious and able to function and move, this added bonus effect to her ability of immortality will NOT surface to protect her. This also means she is not protected against attacks by enemies or opponents.

When she became undead, her eyes were swallowed up by her sclera completely which is just a side effect to her being zombified. Her teeth are also serrated and razor sharp for tearing flesh apart.

Though she is dead, her body does not smell of decomposition or have any severe odor of decay.

She is immune to poisonous gas or airborne toxins because well...she's already dead. She cannot catch disease either or get sick.
