I tend to make my test ponies with whatever sets of colors I can find in the fabric store, so the adults were made with what I found when I was testing the adult pattern and the fillies and colts were made with what I found when I was testing the filly and colt patter.

Have you considered making a baby pony pattern? Or do you have suggestions on how to modify the filly pattern for a baby look?

I've had a few people ask for a baby pattern. I think you could probably make a decent baby pony by starting with the Filly pattern and then scaling the head up about 10% so it looks even more over-sized. There might be other modifications, but I'd need to look over the proportions to be sure.

I love them! But I have a question;
everytime someone makes a pony with your pattern, the head always seems to drop down. I had this issue as well and I didn't really know how to fix it. I tweaked the pattern by making the neck longer and carefully pinning but it sometimes still happens.
Help? XD

By drop down, do you mean the head itself droops or the nose doesn't turn the way you want it to? If the head is drooping (the neck is bending too much) I'd try overstuffing the neck some so it's more rigid. You could also place the head a little further down (over) the neck when you sew it on.
If the problem is that the nose isn't turning the way you want, you need to be patient with pulling the curved section of the head side straight when you pin it to the head gore. Don't forget to clip into the curved section so you can straighten it out. I put more detailed illustrations for this into the Filly & Colt pattern because people have had problems with it.

Yeah, the head drops further down and actually weighs down the plushie, making it unable to stand properly. When I made Fluttershy, I had no idea how to fix this. Everything went wrong with her head so I just had to cut ends and give it to the commissioner cos it was takin too long to make
I do have a problem with the nose not turning when I make it but often its just something I need to restitch cos I missed it XD

Hmmm... I'd definitely say overstuff the neck and possibly stuff the head more lightly. Also if you aren't using plastic pellets in the feet, maybe try that (it helps the pony have more weight at the bottom). If that doesn't help, send me a picture and I'll see if I can figure out anything else.

These are all the ponies I'll be selling patterns for as of this evening. The doctor had to sit this one out until I finish the Stallion pattern.
