Here he is without the wings.This pony and his accessories (hair/etc) are made using a beanie pony pattern that's going to be for sale in my etsy shop starting this evening.

I sell my patterns through Etsy. If you're looking for a free one there are several available on DA (just search for pony pattern or pony sewing pattern). Most of them have no seam allowances and either very basic tutorials or no tutorials at all.

Most of my prototypes, including this one, are made of cotton flannel. I sometimes use quilting cotton and the gray beanie I made recently was made out of felted wool (it's a woven fabric that is felted so it's quite a bit thicker and stronger than normal "felt").
