I'm so glad they hold this contest! The girl in the picture is me as a Noldorin Elf Noblewoman, a niece of Fingolfin's wife Anaire. My name is Annaeth Turel. 'Annaeth' comes from the word 'anna', meaning 'giving', and '-eth', a suffix that means 'woman' (elleth = elf-woman, adaneth = mortal woman). 'Turel' is a combination of two words: 'tur' means victory and 'el' means star. The meanings are taken from my real name. I don't know if it's a right way of naming.

Annaeth is learned in the history of the First Age. She likes to read in the library, poring over the Ainulindale and Valaquenta. However, when Feanor decides to lead his family to Middle-Earth, she decides to join with Fingolfin's army because she loves adventures as well. She is best friends with Aredhel, Fingolfin's daughter, and Aegnor, Finarfin's youngest son. She is not a fighter with weapons but uses spells and enchantments.

I choose to put myself in the First Age because I think it's the coolest, with Valars and High Elves and the Men warriors! Besides, The Silmarillion is my favorite book.

Speaking of the design, I incorporate my favorite things: roses and the color pink. I love to read like she does, and my hair is very dark brown in color (almost black really). I give her a golden headband because Elves wear headbands.
