i drew his a few months back but felt like colouring something booafter watching a slew of ultra-violent anime (GANTZ, M.D Geist GenoCyber etc.) i thought ;wouldn't it be neat to have and R rated power-rangers thing? not that you really get that from this picture, but it's what made me draw it...note the monster looks pretty much exactly like the first rogue Boomer from BGC 2040 : P
anways drawn with some kinda of pen (magical microns of varried size) and coloured primarily in OpenCanvas 1.01 and messed up in photoshop 7

although there is a manga called 'Junk: record of the last hero' which is pretty much adult-ish power-ranger like super 'heros' might be worth a google :3

BTW i am glad i am not the only person who saw genocyber that was an awesome anime but it is a damn shame it ended so soon

Well the thing about Genocyber was that it was an OVA it was supposed to be short, in fact you might notice that the first 'episode' is actually a fully contained short movie and the eps 2-3 are a two parter sequel and eps 4-5 where made around 2 years after the previous ones :B

I started drawign one of these big mecha\suit monster dudes for youas a sort of gift\tribute thing, but totally mangled it

man, i realised that this is probably the best colour job i've done @___@ it has alot to do with spending more time on it i thinkz (to bad the actually drawing has a few little quirkz)

considering that the actualy sentai shows in japan usually ran well over 100 eps it's pretty neat what they managed with only 5 bucks per show X'DD
actually, i figures this might make a pretty neat moive...even if it does manly pull in a explotaional type crowd 8D

hell no X'D but the suits would make them all 'invincable' but think of the rangers going on massive power trips/rampages and the random civillians geting diced horribly by the monsters etc X'D
