Aww thank you! I was browsing around in DA and saw some of these GIF pics. I thought I'm going to Google and see what it's all about and low and behold this came out! I haven't had time to try more but love it! You could do some too with your digital art pieces...I can tell you it sure would be unique if you did and very beautiful too.

I have a suggestion for one for you to do. On this one [link] you could make the water move a little save that pic, take the same pic and make the water move a little more save that as a separate pic, take the same pic move the water some more save that pic too, take one more of the same pic and move the water some more save the pic. Then go here [link] and download the pics in sequence and sit back you will be amazed at the water movement! It would be fantastic and one of a kind GIF pic! If you make a small GIF it is easier to download the first time in DA. Hence the site I gave you. You can also use PS/GIMP to make your GIF's too.

i am familiar with gifs, but, as easy as they are to use, and i have done a quite a few of, i am more particular to using flash for my animations. i am acually more into web design and programming, and i have to do stuff with computer programming and animations, so i use flash alot, so if i need gifs or animations i will either use flash or fireworks for my gifs. i actually did a website for a swim team and the header was a pool, and i had the pool waves moving, and in the corner were like two polaroid photos that alternated pics, and when you click on each page a splash would sound. really cool, at least i thought so lol

You know I saw a flash tonight and think they are much higher quality. I am going to look into this kind of thing soon. You can post your flash items under film/flash I think. When you post just make sure it is in an animation category and it will accept your post.

Heck yeah that work you did with the water had to be awesome! You should dream up some flash things to do here. I would love to see them and I bet you could get into making $ right here at DA too! When consumers look at your products they will contact you about work. I have heard that is how it works here.

i havent thought about the flash stuff to be honest, i am trying to conquer the photoshop stuff first as i am a backwards person and ps is harder for me, weird, flash should be harder, but its not, lol

Wow after I talked with you I realized that you were so gracious to me! Here you are a college grad in this stuff and know flash backwards and forwards. LOL!

I have also realized you know how to write code! Someday soon I am going to trick out my profile page but only after I understand about code better. I want to copy and paste code to change my profile page and make it really cool looking.

Have you started to use PS yet? If so are you having sucess with it? I am just wondering if I should go ahead and buy PS and begin to learn that and only that. I want the best and will spare no expense to get it...at least I could take my time if I buy it for myself.

oh i dont know flash inside and out, not by a long shot, flash can do so much, its such a huge platform, i can do basics, and some actionscript stuff, and my animations, but flash can get really intense, and i am not up to par on that, but its fun learning it, frustrating as hell too lol.

coding, i love, that is what i prefer to do is coding. i tossed around the computer programming thing because i loved coding so much, but, after doing some designing with html and css, and having to work in photoshop, i realized i wanted to do web design insted. that way, i have the coding that i love, and i get to do the artistic thing like i always dreamed of in photoshop, so i get both things that i love.

me personally, i would use a platform, wheither its flash, fireworks, photoshop, coding, whatever your most interested in and then start learning and conquering that, if you spread yourself too much over too many platforms, you may get overwhelmed. so stick to what interests you the most, then dive into it, once you conquer that, learn something different

Thanks for the advice I will take it and run with it!

I only need to learn just enough code to change my profile page here at DA. Basically I'm pretty sure I can copy paste but need to understand which code goes where. Like the header goes into which code map DA gave us. Here is the [link] If I could just understand what part of the code I copy/paste in which section I would have a tricked out journal. I also want to use one from online that is already made for me. Anyways I been trying to get back to this comment for 2 days now. Ah the joys of a full time job equals no time for fun!

I will choose PS because it is the medium I love the most and will not tire of quickly. I am going to learn the free version and go from there whether I will buy the expensive one. Shouldn't take long to learn the free version not much there but at least I could get a feel for it to see if I want to struggle or not learning it. I do love to struggle. It seems when I conquer something all the sudden I get bored. I don't think I would ever get bored with PS because I will be creating all different kinds of art. I love every thing!

did you use your own css style sheet? if so, you need to have a div class set up in the style sheet called something.header, something.footer, that way on the deviant map, where it calls for

you would put

and it will pull from the header and footer information from your css sheet. make sure you put your style sheet in the or it wont be able to find the info for the header.

if you dont have your own style sheet, thats okay too, you can put it in a different way, if deviant lets you. you would just put in the html on the actual page and you can set up its properties any way you want.

Hi baby! Hope you are coming over soon. Miss you dearly! Deena and I have been meeting new people and it is so diff from Taaz. You are appreciated here and not hated or mistreated for being diff. I have been learning new things and hope you will have time for DA. You can post things and give full credits for what you work on others do it here I have seen it.

Hi Carolyn ! I miss you, friend. I have been staying away from TAAZ. It has become a volatile cyber-environment...to me any way. I have been so busy with school; my last class was really difficult. I am glad it is over! I intend to post on DeviantART. I just feel a little nervous about sharing my personal art, but it appears to be a great way to get some input. I always wish to improve. I have been looking at your posts, and I am so happy you are receiving positive input. That is fun. It is important to embrace what you are doing, whether it is original art or makeovers, each has merit and is an expression of who we are. I will talk with you soon. Margaret

I know all about the way Taazie's are not everyone but just a few they are mean, selfish and jealous of us. You should run as fast as you can over here before your creative juices dry up! Don't get me wrong I still love Taaz and the staff and friends like you and Deena but not the childish people there.

Here you can block them and all their fake accounts. DA protects their users better than Taaz does. They are hip to fakers and trolls!

Yes Margaret you are so right about each person's art we are special all in our own way. That is the thing I notice most here is we are loved for our differences in our art.

They have the coolest groups to post your works in. You go to the groups search and put in the kind of things you love. Like for me it was vampires...then it was beauty/makeup and low and behold I am in a bunch of groups now! They are so kind and I have made another great friend like you and Deena!

I got to send William a message and let him know you are here now and will be posting your vintage arts! He will love you and you will love him too! OMG I'm so happy Margaret!

Actually Deena it's just like how you go to four or five places to fix your pic up except you change something little at a time. Save each one go to a free GIF site and load them and the site does the rest. I will send it to your email and when you have time check it out....if you lose it I will still have it! LOL!

It's really easy just get a pic and think what can I do. Then go to your editing program of choice and change one thing at a time. Save each picture then you can Google how to do it(GIF'S)in GIMP/PS or use a free one that does it for you. Download each pic and voila you got a GIF! Try to make each pic the same size for "no pic shaking" or use it to your advantage by using diff size pics for each one you save for "shake movement pics"

I did 8 pics for this in sequence then downloaded at a free gif maker and it came out. The hard part is getting it downloaded in DA. If need any advice on the DA part I have quick easy notes.

Thanks so much!
