I think that if Raven would willingly hug anyone, it would probably be her mother, at least in a moment of weakness. I had been compelled to draw this after, earlier in May, I'd accidentally stumbled on a titans site that had screenshots of "The Prophecy" that had then been aired in Canada.Mostly I think I just wanted to draw Arella, because I noticed right away the facial structure was different than what I was used to. It gave me an excuse to draw a very slender face.

There weren't any differences in the Canadian airing of the show and the American airing. They just aired the episodes early in Canada, and they inspired me to draw this image.
