Why thank you. Reddish dark brown with black underneath ^.^ It's mine all the way down to my shoulders (my real hair color, I mean. lol) for the first time in a long time. What can I say? I'm a hair dye junky.

I am insanely jealous as it is. I finally got my hair to the length I want, around this length here, after a bad haircut last year. And then last month, I got the worst haircut of my life. Bastard chopped it all off. You are smart for maintaining it yourself!

Yeah. I use to trim two inches every two months because I heard it helps your hair to be stronger and to therefore "grow more quickly", however, I have little breakage, so my hair has been growing insanely fast since I stopped and now I just dust for split ends and clip them off with sharp scissors, plus I am not crazy about the perfect ends look for long hair on me. I like a little bit imperfection at the ends.

Yeah, I do think trimming helps. I trim mine about every 3-4 months and cut off about an inch or two (usually less than that).
I don't cut it myself, I have my mom do it
But I swear, I'll cut some of it off and 3 months later it's the same length again if not longer. Right now it's back to where I'm almost sitting on it again. So trimming definitely stimulates growth. I don't like the perfectly even look either, but my hair is so straight it's hard to get it to not look like that. It seems like yours has more of a natural wave to it.

Yeah. My hair is wavy, especially when it's shorter. Trimming for me slows down growth because I cut off two inches and it takes me a month to get back to where I was before. If I just dust for split ends, my hair grows like 12 inches a year.
