I think markers like Sharpies are an under appreciated medium, everybody seems to jump on copic markers, which yes can produce some great results but if people put in some effort with Sharpies they can get equally good results.

I am a huge lover of mixed media as well. , I am know experimenting with Acrylics, markers and ink and brush. I really like the way you are using markers.

Actually I realised that it was an old piece but like any gallery I go back and look at old pieces over and over. Your gallery is one of the ones I enjoy going back to, to look at pieces over and over again. I must admit, and it is selfish of me thhat I was disappointed with the reduced volume of work by you when you were diagnosed with cancer. However I think it was post operativley that you produced what I think is one of your most powerful and beautiful pieces.

Aww thank you that's very nice of you to say. I think my modeling was mostly cut down dramatically when I moved away from San Francisco and started a day job. I just left that job last July, so I am hoping once I am all healed up from my next surgery in early December that I can possibly start modeling more again.

I am actually working on an art piece right now, plus some other art forms. It's coming along slowly, but it's coming along though, so it's just a matter of time.

Hey at least your pieces are coming along I am working on a piece and it has jjust stopped. But what makes it worse is I know how the complete piece should be, as I am actually dyslexic I never got involved in creative writing at all, in fact that is probably why I studied Biophysics, I didn't have to do any creative writing I just recorded facts. But it has created a bit of an impasee for me finishing the project. Have a look in this folder, the pictures are not in order but these are the bare bones of an Adult storybook style piece. abigtreehugger.deviantart.com/… I know what the text should say, I am not sure I have the ability to assemble that text.
It is good to hear you are working on new pieces I look forward to seeing them.
