You think Ultra Magnus is dead after he was attacked by Shockwave in TFA?

I thought he was but apparently he is okay, just very very badly injured. As a result Sentinel's acting as leader for a while.
or so I understood.

I wonder if we can find a rock big enough? (I'd say something but finding a way around his ego but... OUCH. That's low even for me!)

Always love some Magnus love ^^ I think he looks really great here. Never thought of him as a shaman type, but I've always thought him more faithful to a religion than any other bots (now this is G1 I'm talking about but he is the only one who says "Thanks the Matrix.") Nice job. My only little nitpick is the ravens size. Since humans fit in the hands of Transformers, these guys would be bigger than humans O.o But who am I to preach, my proportions are always terrible ^_^

I have to agree. The cape really suits Magnus too. He has this regal and very wise aura.

Indeed! I mean... he's.... I dunno. Wise, regal, someone who knows how to take crap and deal with it. There's a reason why he's head honcho.

I'm more familiar with Greek Mythology, and some Egyptian, but I do know a little Norse. LOVE applying various mythologies to stories; its an excellent idea! Heck, mythology period just facinates me. ^_^
And yeah, Ultra Magnus always came off as Thor to me, what with all that lightning and slamming of his hammer and stuff. The Odin part of him comes from him being in charge. Does he have his six-legged horse? XD

*Eats cookie* Nummy! *Collects points*
I'm not that familiar with the Egyptian pantheon, and unfortunately know almost nothing of Native American beliefs. I tend to focus my "casual studies" on Greek/Roman and Norse mythologies. To each his or her own, I suppose. Makes for interesting storytelling, though, when you base a story off of a myth of which the audience has no former knowledge.

**nods** Some of the native american myths are.. fREAKY.
There's one of a woman who had to wait for a hunting party to arrive and while she waited she got hungry. First she ate her hands... then her feet and continued until there was nothing but her head. Then she proceeded to eat everything in sight. I think the hunting party had to kill her, but don't quote me on that.
or the story of White Buffalo woman. That's a good one.

That is freaky. *Shudders* ... Then again, so is Zeus eating his kids.
