Summary: The man who had spoken is Baris' assistant Mr. Arnes Darvin and the three-person party discovers that the Enterprise was hailed for something called Quadrotriticale. Neither Kirk nor Taylor knows what it is, but the girl can tell at least that it's grain and not wheat.

The small man who had spoken stepped forward and placed himself beside Baris, folding his arms against his own torso.

“This is Arnes Darvin my assistant,” Mr. Baris said, introducing the man.

“Hi,” Kirk greeted without expression. “And this is my first officer, Mr. Spock.”

Mr. Baris went on. “Now, I want you to post guards around the storage compartments.”

“Guards?” the Captain asked.

“To protect the quadrotriticale,” Mr. Darvin answered.

“Another thing I’ve never heard of,” Taylor stated. “What is it?”

Mr. Lurry turned to the Captain and offered him a small gold bag. “Captain.”

Kirk took the bag and poured its contents onto his palm to examine it.

“Wheat,” he stated skeptically. “So what?”

“No... that’s grain,” Taylor told him once she herself had seen the plant matter in his hand.

This looks way better than the last page -- first page entirely inked on Photoshop, so that's pretty cool. :3
Though I have to say, the shading looks a little funky on this one. Kinda darker than usual.
