Description Again, like the clock, NOT my ORIGINAL IDEA... Same artist though Steven Gammel (sp?)... I just thought Id try an attempt myself at making something that looks so neat.
*thanks to my lovely scanner, you can't see the little man thats running for his life at the bottom very well or the appendages/legs on the skull going off the page to your right... but thats my scanner for you*

**because this is not a completely original piece, I will never be considering selling prints or anything else of the like of this piece.

Thank You

This guy did artwork for ghost story's right? I remember reading like all of them, made me a scared little boy when i was young...not to scared of it now...but i don remeber one story scaring me in particular...it frightened me cause the names where of people i know and the description of the town sounded a lot like an area around where i grew up. Idk it sounds lame i guess,

But this is very good.

This was an artwork done in a collection of horror stories. I read it when I was about six. It scared the shit out of me and I didn't sleep a few nights.

very interesting and gruesome. It reminds me of the beginning of "the Hills Have Eyes" where they show all the deformed babies and such due to the radiation. The melting eyeball is very scary.
great job on the cracks in the skull and the shading is wonderful. its good work.

haha! i was only able to bear the first half hour or so. my best pal works at a movie theater, it was free, so what the hey? i'm not a big fan of blood, gore, and mindless killing, so i bolted out of the theater before it was over. i didnt want to see some mutant raping a teenage girl. but yeah. if you're into that sort of stuff, go see it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

VampKitty9 In reply to decemberdreams [2006-07-29 06:46:51 +0000 UTC]

Yea, as far as movies go, idk if im into mindless killing... I like there to be reasons and such... As for blood and gore... I love it lol. Horrible of me, but I love it lol. Just.... sometimes I loose it when they bring out the needles... I'm good seeing people getting torn appart n such... But show me some of those hypodermic syringe needle things... and thats it lmao. I'm wierd

=>.<= I wouldnt have wanted to see a mutant raping a teenage girl either... or any girl at all for that matter lol... I'm fully behind you on that one lmao.

Well thats always good if it encourages you... Today I saw BlueBlack's latest deviation, called "God Killing Himself" .... right away she was getting comments about how horrible the picture was because of the title and a lecture on religion as far as how god made everything and yea.... It just makes me feel bad seeing that kinds of stuff, especially when people start involving religious beliefs and stuff and dont understand that maybe the other person doesnt share the same views as they do. lol, i even get frusterated when its not directed towards me or my work lol. Not mad or anything, but not something thats easy for me to just laugh at lol.

lol, your welcome, I'll probably be commenting on them soon... or soonish at least after i get farther on what im working on otherwise ill just get too distracted and I'm sure you know how that goes lol...
What I saw thus far just browsing your gallery made me beyond amused and with some, I couldnt help but giggle, not because they were bad or silly, but because I was just that amused lol...
But yes, once I am farther on what I'm working on now, I'll be sure to leave what I'm sure will be pleanty of comments lol.

Man, I know exactly what you're talking about. If you eventually make it over, that would be cool. No rush at all. And I love to hear that people are amused; that's such a refreshing response. I was on another board where the artists had no freaking sense of humor, and many took my art to be serous, mean, and offensive. Kinda got old! LOL

Can't wait to see what you've got cookin'.

Thanks again, man.

lol, again, your very welcome.

Yup, it sucks, and it's very close-minded. That's okay, I've come to expect it now...and it usually makes me laugh and want to draw something even worse.
