I went round looking for a tutorial on how to use the pentool in photoshop, and after looking at a few, and finally figuring out what the instructions are talking about "I seriously suck at following insturctions. I can't understand ANYTHING first time round. I always feel as though people leave bits out, and just expect, me to know what I'm doing...) I actually took a shot at using the pentool. I've done a couple of things with, them being a a Beetlejuice doodle and a request froma LONG time ago (I may need to start it again though. Didn't come out quite right...) and then I felt that maybe I should show Wilt and Zigzag a bit of love and experiment on them, and this is how it came out.I freakin' LOVE IT, man. It's all just so tidy and neat... Pentool is my new best friend
Anywizzle, because I'm lazy, and I hate colouring stuff at the moment, I left it blank.
But that's where you guys come in
What would you think if I started up a colouring contest? If anyone's interested, just say so in a comment, and I'll post a journal with information about it a bit later on this week. Probably tomorrow.So uh.... What's going on in the picture? Who knows. I suppose you could say it's based off my best friend, Leah. When ever she says somethign moderately horrible to me, she'll then say "Aren't I just lovely?", and it's just totally something Zigzag would say if she's just done something quite mean and or insensitive Example 1: Exposing Wilt's embarassing case of the runs to the whole house Example 2: Killing someone...
Second one sounds more likely...

It's a mega awesome tool you can use on Adobe Photoshop, to make your line art really nice and neat.

I try to get my hand drawings to look kinda like this. As in, with the lines varying (sp?) thickness etc.

Hehe, pen tool is fun. :3 I couldn't get it to work on Photoshop, though. D: I wonder if it's just this old Elements version I have, or what...but I can work it just perfectly in Illustrator.

maybe it does work differently in photoshop. Just fiddle with it for a while, and if worse comes to worse, do what i did and root for tutorials...

I would totally recommend you do. It's a bit fiddly, but it makes everything look so much tidier and profressional looking, I think...

A coloring contest? Does it have to be done with any particular program, or any computer program. I prefer Corel Painter over Photoshop, but that's just me. I guess I'll "bite", but I'll have to know the details quick-torture...I mean SCHOOL...starts up in another week.
Poor Wilt...too much peach cobbler after going too long without a good homecooked South Kakalacky meal will do it, I guess!!

You can use any program. I don't mind how you colour it at all. If people want, they could even print off the thing and colour it with crayons or paints or what ever. If you wanna use Corel, use it.
Damn, you start school in a WEEK?! I've only just left for my summer break... And then I go back in September...
Anyway, I'll post details in a journal either tonight or tomorrow morning. Probably tonight...

I used to really REALLy struggle with it, but it get's really easy if you practise with and look at a LOT of tutorials.
