Final-final redesign of Zigzag. I'm serious this time, no going back, so please save your breath if you're going to tell me that you prefer the old design. Or the old-old design.She was first designed when I was eleven, back when I didn't know originality was a cool thing, and since I learnt that, I've resented her for looking like Wilt. So, we've made some serious changes. Lobeless. Eyestalk less. Only has one eye. It's kind of a combination of the last design [link] and one of the ideas I had before [link]
And I really like it.

Oh, and it's not "Zigzag Black" anymore. It's just Zigzag.

wow, i really like this new design. To be honest, i like it better than the old one, (she really did look too much like Wilt) but i love how she retained much of her original character and personality.

Her design, in the beginning, was just the result of inexperience; and what's the use in keeping a poor deisgn, when you have the ability to make it better? :I

I understand how some artists keep changing thier characters and I still enjoy it because they're amorphous; they give us something new for the eyes. And besides, Zigzag still has a place in my 
Don't beat yourself up over when she first came to you; most artists't creations start out when they're young, and even then they may base them off a character they love just to have starting point. You started out by using Wilt as reference, but you made Zigzag your own by giving her an entirely different look and personality that suited YOU. You shouldn't resent it (or her). There are so many others here that appreciate how she looked and and how she looks now. 
This new design reflects how you've matured, milady. There's still some hints of her original features, such as her outfit, the hair (in homage to her wonky eyestalks), and LOUD personality. The exaggerated proportions actually accentuate her overall figure, and the fact that she has JUST ONE eyeball really works (with the sideswept bangs to fool you, hehe). And let's not forget the cigarette.
Overall, you've made my day by giving me this piece of eye candy. Much love and respect to ya.

I've had good fun developing Zigzag over the years, and even though I don't mch like how she used to look, as you've said, her design shows how I've matured; she's developed with me I guess, and this is just the product of getting older. So, I'm pretty pleased <3

You're welcome. I can't help but repeat myself; this is the perfect result of stuffing both Zigzag designs in a blender, and adding a few touches here and there as well.
Now if her hair was all super spiky (like out of control spiky), that'd take the cake.

Name any feature Wilt has, and Zigzag will find a way to take the piss. It's just how she is~
But yus, I'm just a bit rusty I guess. It's been a long time since I've drawn him as often as I used to.
Man, so many ideas went through my head, as far as Zigzag's facial features were concerned. I seriously considered a stroke, or a once-broken jaw that never healed properly. I thought about her never being able to stop smiling (kinda like the Joker, I guess, which pays homage to that picture I did aaages ago), or maybe just some sort of bizarre facial tick. In the end, she just has a twitchy eyebrow, and being an imaginary friend, any wonkyness can simply be explained with "She was imagined that way :I"
I also thought about spikey hair. I thought about alot of different hairstyles, actually. One pony tail, down, with a braid in it, long at the front and really short at the back. In the end I just went with piggy-tails; they add an almost cutesy look to her, which is a huge contrast to how she actually is. If you compare her sleeping face to the wide-awake-evil-mastermind-smile and wide open eye, it's clear to see that looks can be decieving~ Which is basically what she's all about.
And of course she's not that open about it; why do you think she bullies him so much? |D

But without that, Zigzag doesn't really have an introduction (not as a bully, anyway), and I can't rewrite it, because people will be all "Meh, I've read this before *fliesaway*" and stuff |:I

I did start something yesterday called "Playground", which looks at the bullying thing again, but differently. It also looks at Ziz and Larry's friendship, and Wilt ends up getting a talking-down to, for being a bully, himself~ It's all very fun and contradictory :I
He also learns that the best way to deal with Zigzag is to fight fire with fire~

Ooooooh. I'd love to read that. I bet if Wilt would just give Zigzag a taste of her own medicine she wouldn't pick on him so much, because then she knows that he'd actually fight back... Before I'd believe that since Wilt's too mature to stoop to her level or even stand up for himself, she messes with him constantly.

I dunno, Wilt's "maturity" has kind of gone down, I think. Well, not so much his maturity, but I don't think he worries about being such a goody two-shoes, anymore. Well yeah, either that or he doesn't have to "hide" himself anymore. But he's still him, regardless. He's still a really good guy like he's always been, still really apologetic, but a liiiittle more assertive. Or a lot, it's been forever since I've seen the episodes, lol.
Then again, he's never met anyone quite like Zigzag~ C:
