Description You have left my soul frostbitten and numb,
Yet care not for the pain this body suffers.
Why do you torture me so?
What have I done?

You have doused my dreams with one word,
Yet still say to keep these illusions alive.
Why do you still speak?
How can I listen?

You have laughed at my persistent tears,
Yet ask for pity when you are hurting.
How can you still feel?
Why should I care?

You have taken my heart without consent,
Yet refuse for others to possess yours.
Can I not cross this barrier?
Must you hide away?

You are slowly slipping away from me,
Yet do not notice the gap increase.
Do you wish to be released?
How can I let you go?

You need to tell me how to respond,
For I know not what to say or do.
Does our story end here?
Am I to be alone?

I have only wanted you to be happy,
Yet that emotion is lost to you.
Perhaps we should just part now
And say our final goodbyes.
