I love the bells on the eyes. It reminds of the tradition to put coins on a corpse's eyes to prevent it from walking.Β

My first idea for the bells was the sound, 'cause Gretel is blind, all her world is made of sounds, and movements in the dark. And as Gretel is a dead child too, your thought is right ^^
