FINALLY, some new artwork! Really, I need to start submitting more! I might go for a series of original characters for now, since I enjoy drawing those most. <3

Eli the Armless.
(Remember, it's Ee-lie, not Eh-lee. Like the priest.)

Eli, a telekinetic boy, lived in a society where humans despised espers. In his world, it's a norm that humans and espers are not on good terms, but where he comes from, humans hated the espers to a degree that physical abuse was common. Eli was one of the many unfortunate, a victim to the cruelty of ruthless hands. At a young age, both his arms were torn off, an event he gladly does not remember due to the fact he was barely a toddler when this happened. Ever since losing his arms, he has been making use of his telekinetic abilities, using his mind to lift spoons and open doors due to the fact he has no arms.

Because he has been using his telekinetic powers for years, his concentration is outstanding. Now a fourteen-year-old lad, he has been recruited by a certain mercenary group that serves to correct crimes and troubles beyond normal human-esper disputes. His telekinetic abilities have been put to good use, and he can swing the marionette hands inside the oversize sleeves of his garb to mimic punches in case he needs to defend himself. Eli is, however, pretty much terrified of everything around him to an extent: he fears anything he knows nothing about is out to hurt him. This paranoia has driven him to be quite an insomniac, hence the dark areas around his eyes. He has weak appetite and has something called the Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which both have contributed to his lanky and pale physique. He gets physically tired easily and pretty much faints constantly, which somehow has a sort of comedic impact on those who witness this happening.

I wanted a grotesque style of coloring to bring out the horror that Eli had to go through. Expect the rest of the characters from his storyline to appear sometime. <3

By the way, Eli is not the main character in his storyline, though I intend on making him a major character.
