I tried to limit my photo uploads to "artsy" photos, or pictures that showed off my costumes. This isn't really either, but I like Old Gregg too much not to upload this, and I was pretty damn proud of my efforts.Related content

great job on the wig.
i couldn't find anything near seaweed for mine, so i used fabric & some fake plants.
also, jackets are hard to find, i had a spray painted one.
i might try out some new stuff for old gregg this year...

I actually had to make the jacket and the wig myself -- the jacket I sewed, and the hair I had to hand-sew myself. I spray-painted silk leaves from a fake plant, and then hand sewed them into strips, and sewed them onto a cap to make the hair. It was time-consuming, but actually pretty easy!
The boots I actually got from Hot Topic. They don't sell them anymore, unfortunately, but they may still be on eBay! Mine are actually somewhat inaccurate, though -- Greggory actually wears flat chelsea boots.

I made it myself, sadly. I couldn't find one either, so I ended up having to buy fabric and sew it. Sorry, I'm sure that doesn't help you much. :/

I actually made pretty much everything on the costume, jacket and wig included. Silver jackets are amazingly hard to find! But it was easy to make, I just used a pattern and this silver spandexy material they had at a fabric store here. Pretty simple process.

Oh man, that was almost a year ago and I don't have the pattern anymore. :/ And I sure don't remember which it was exactly. All I know is we got it from one of the pattern books at the fabric store, so it'll be McCalls or Simplicity, and it was in the Outwear or Sportswear section. I apologize that I can't tell you any more than that!

I actually made the wig myself through a time consuming but fairly simple process. I bought a silk plant from a craft store and cut off the leaves, then spray painted them "suede tan", and added a gloss to make them look wet. After that I sewed them together in strips and then attached them to a makeshift wig-cap. (A baseball cap with the bill cut off.)
So, fairly easy, it just took a long time!
