warmoesstraat. These houses were baught by the Bijenkorf, a department store at the opposite of the street. They had plans to demolish the houses for a parking garage. It never came that far; most of the houses in this block, also known as the "Blaauw Lakenblok", were listed. Most of the houses are now waiting to be restored, and most of them are shored up like these.
