this is forbecause he's an awesome american manga artist.
i'm normally very picky when it comes to art styles, but his just draws me in. i love it.
his art has a soft feeling to it which is hard to come by in manga now-a-days.
anyway...i've been meaning to draw him fan art for a while now and i haven't gotten around to it until now. soooo... TADA! fan art -waves hands-
now i need to go buy the manga... which will be yet another task that might take me a while. i might be able to haul my butt out to the bookstore this weekend though :3
on to the picture. it's miki and some strange glowing spirit...thing. i know that there are spirits in the manga, but not sure what kind =n= i stayed with dark tones so that anything light would just pop out, which i do need practice on. i also drew this while listening to: [link] i love her music.

whenever i draw fan art i tend to get nervous on what the artist will think of it =w=
i haven't checked my bookstore in a while, but it generally has a good variety of manga types, hopefully it will be there.
