So....when i saw these two loverly brothers for The Legend of Korra, i have to admit that i may have had a fan girl moment. but that's only because these brothers are so adorable!! firebending older brother, Mako and earthbending younger brother, Bolin?! that's wonderful! it's like a dream come true, hahaha~
anyway, i'm am patiently waiting for Korra and trying REALLY hard not to ship... (although...threesome might solve everyone's problems >:3) i also hear that people don't like Bolin as much :c i think that he's adorable and silly, like the Sokka of the group. everyone needs a Sokka, i mean EVERYBODY.
ANYHOO, i'm trying out a different approach to colouring, do you like it? cause i do! and it's easier for me to colour larger canvases more efficiently c:

I haven't heard of anyone disliking Bolin, just of people thinking either a) that his name his silly sounding or b) that Mako is super hot and that Korra needs to tap dat. Also, Mako is a snapper dresser (the scarf!), so of course he's going to get more love right off the bat. Doesn't mean anyone dislikes Bolin, at least not anyone I've come across. They're just more interested in Mako because of the aforementioned hotness and scarfness, which I think is understandable.
I like Bolin, he seems awesome, and I from what little we've see I'm really really excited about the dynamic of trio, and of the dynamic between the brothers. But, I'd be a big fat liar if I said I'm not swooning over Mako's design and that even though I'm trying very very very hard not to ship and to withhold judgment until the show is actually OUT, that a little significant part of me wants the Makorra, if only for how pretty they both look (so shallow ><). And that I'm not enamored with Mako's fab style.

I heard of people disliking Bolin too 
When they announced that it was move back until 2012 i was but i looked at Korra then have this idea that while waiting for 2012 and apocalypse LoK I'm going to try and beefed up like her to prove my undying Avatardness

i think that he's adorable too! i was thinking that people like Mako better because he's the older brother, haha. it normally just works out that way i guess, i bet if their ages or bending types were switched it would be totally different, hahaha.
and Makorra is just because Zutara fans are as loyal as ever and hoping that this time the sexy firebender and gifted waterbender/avatar will get together (i say this because i'm a Zutara fan and i that's what i found myself automatically wishing for, haha!)
oh, and it's like a mary-sue dream come true because there's two different types of benders, but they're brothers! i don't know...it felt like something special...and rare
maybe it's just AMAZING.
